World Class Plastics has been named the Logan County Chamber’s September Business of the Month. Since their startup in 1994, World Class Plastics, Inc. has endeavored to be a ‘world class’ provider of thermoplastic injection molded products and services. The company has earned its position in the industry through superb customer services and technical support. Being able to provide excellent service and support for their injection molding company isn’t all they are capable of. World Class Plastics has recently been showcasing their ability to pivot and get creative in the midst of the pandemic. “We have been predominantly a custom injection molder, molding for the end user, but when the COVID-19 started this spring, we wanted to help our community fill a need for our PPE products that were nearly impossible to obtain,” said World Class Plastics’ Vice President, Scott Wisniewski. “We created a face shield concept and within five days had it in production.”
Since then, World Class Plastics has improved the face shield with a material of higher clarity once it was available. They also designed a face mask with an N92 filter media that filters down to 0.1 microns to help combat the spread of the virus. World Class Plastics now has a line of PPE products that include, but are not limited to, Face Shields, Face Masks, No-Touch Keys and ear savers. World Class Plastics assembles more than just PPE. They injection mold and assemble visually critical and tight tolerance products using a variety of plastic materials including poly propylene, acetal, nylon, ABS, elastomers and other engineering resins. With a focus on leadership, training and process control, World Class Plastics continues to improve its products and processes while providing high levels of customer service, quality and competitive prices. “We strive to offer custom injection molding for any company that has a need and is looking for a long-term relationship” said Scott. Not only is the team at World Class Plastics a team of hard-working and creative individuals, they also are local to Logan County. “We chose to start our business in Logan County because it was our home, and we wanted to offer our community job opportunities,” said Scott. “We have been able to give back to the place we have grown to love and call home.” World Class Plastics values their membership at the Logan County Chamber. Scott says they have been able to become more engaged in the community, receive training opportunities, benefit from the guidance offered at safety meetings, network with other businesses and they enjoy taking advantage of the discounts offered through the Chamber and the Bureau of Workman Compensation. “The HR Lunch and Learns are always a great source of timely information,” said Scott. “But we have to say that one of the greatest benefits has been the way the Chamber has stepped up this year during the pandemic. They kept us updated on all of the Federal, State and Local changes and supplied us with the resources needed to navigate through a very challenging time. I don’t know how we would have been able to stay on top of this changing situation without them.” Please join us in congratulating World Class Plastics for being selected as the Chamber Business of the Month for the month of September.
