The Logan County Collaborative was formed in 2015 to help bridge the gap between education and industry. Local business, industry, government and educators from in and around Logan County meet monthly to tackle local workforce issues and create new opportunities for job-seekers.
The group's goal is to provide a well-trained and prepared workforce to fill the needs of area employers for many years to come. |
Through the work of the Logan County Collaborative and its members, annual events have been established to help students better understand local employment opportunities, including the 8th Grade Career Day and the Annual Career Expo for high school students. The Logan County Collaborative is also spearheading new initiatives like the 3E campaign and an annual "Signing Day" to recognize all students' chosen path after graduation - whether that includes employment, enlistment, or enrollment in college.
The Logan County Collaborative meets monthly on the fourth Monday at 3 p.m. Contact the Chamber to learn more about this group and how you can get involved.
