JobsOhio, the state’s private economic development corporation designed to drive job creation and new capital investment in Ohio, has announced that its Inclusion Grant program assisted 28 companies in the Columbus Region since its inception in 2020, creating over 50 net new jobs, retaining more than 1,600 existing jobs and awarding nearly $900,000 in grants.
The Logan County Chamber of Commerce has selected United Midwest Savings Bank as the Business of the Month for the Month of February.
United Midwest Savings Bank is an independent, privately owned, federally chartered institution offering a variety of banking services to their business and consumer customers. In 1889, United Midwest Savings Bank opened their doors in DeGraff and has since expanded to be the 13th largest SBA lender in the country. Even though they've grown, they've never forgotten their small hometown roots in Logan County.
"In addition to our national ranking, United Midwest Savings Bank was recently awarded as a Top 10 Lender for SBA Fiscal Year 2019 for the Columbus District Office of the SBA," said Kristen Livecchi, Vice President of Marketing. "While United Midwest's products, services and expertise have the feel of a small community bank, our reach is of a national brand. We never forget our roots as a local bank, and we view that as our advantage - providing our customers and businesses with financial services is at the core of what we do. As a part of our company culture, we are committed to exceeding expectations of our customers through executional excellence."
