The Logan County Chamber of Commerce has selected United Midwest Savings Bank as the Business of the Month for the Month of February. 

United Midwest Savings Bank is an independent, privately owned, federally chartered institution offering a variety of banking services to their business and consumer customers. In 1889, United Midwest Savings Bank opened their doors in DeGraff and has since expanded to be the 13th largest SBA lender in the country. Even though they've grown, they've never forgotten their small hometown roots in Logan County.

United Midwest primarily has four pillars: Business Lending, Retail (consumer) Lending, Residential Lending and Personal Banking, with an emphasis on savings and CDs. One of their divisions is the Piano Credit Company and is one of the leaders in financing for pianos in the country. 

Since the start of COVID-19 in March, the lobby at United Midwest has been closed but they continue to operate via the drive thru and with appointments available for in-branch access. 

"We are fully committed to providing our customers with the service they expect from us, in a safe environment for all," said Kristen. 

Chamber Director, Lydia Hess, says the involvement that United Midwest Savings Bank has in Leadership Logan County (one of the many programs the Chamber provides), has been hard to overlook. 

"As a participant in this year's Leadership Logan County program and one of 12 Chamber Ambassadors, Kristen Hall, Branch Manager of United Midwest Bank, is a regular and welcome face around the Chamber office," said Lydia. "We truly value the strong relationship United Midwest has with Logan County as a whole."
