ROBERTS MACHINE PRODUCTS

Roberts Machine Products brings together hundreds of years of machining experience and provides a unique product solution for their customers. They are a two-production facility organization that provides machined products, thru multi-spindle and CBC capabilities. 

Roberts Machine Products was started by Leonard Roberts in 1968 with seven employees. They have since sold the company to Dayton Superior Corporation, Bob Hughes and now Contractors Material Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is a fourth-generation, family-owned business. Today, they have 31 total employees, who all enjoy machining. 

“I drive an hour and a half to work every day,” said Ed Blankenship, Manager of Roberts Machine Products. “What brings me here are the people. I think they all truly enjoy the satisfaction of taking a raw material and making something out of it.” 

Roberts Machine Products has also been investing in the youth of Logan County by working closely with Hi-Point Career Center to create an apprenticeship for high school students. 

 “Our greatest challenge is finding experienced people in screw machining,” said Mr. Blankenship. “Hi-Point (Career Center) has a screw machine and they have been working with their students to give them the experience they need.” 

Roberts Machine Products actively attends trade and machining shows throughout the United States and has been recognized as a “Top Tier” vendor by several of their customers. 

Roberts Machine Products believes being a chamber member promotes their business and other businesses in the community well.
