If you have the mindset to make it succeed, you can do anything." - That's what the guys at Sunlight Windows have done since starting the business three years ago, and the advice they would give fellow entrepreneurs in the beginning of their own adventures. When the office building at the family farm became available, Micah Burkholder took the opportunity to use the space to establish his vision of a high quality window and door company. The office, located at 8164 US 68 North, Bellefontaine, has been the perfect spot for this up and coming entrepreneurship - since it is a high traffic area and located around "home," where trusted business has already been established. 

"Establish yourself with people you can trust to push you outside of your comfort zone and don’t be afraid of a challenge." - Micah started with the help of a couple friends/acquaintances - Jason Ramsey, General & Sales Manager and Corey Dodds, Project & Operations Manager - and Sunlight Windows has grown from just an idea to a successful, thriving business. Micah, Corey and Jason are all ProVia Certified Installers and have a combined knowledge base of nearly 40 years when it comes to products and installation. Sunlight has also added Dawson Kingrey, as Installation Support. The team prides themselves on the quality and craftmanship of work they put into each job, from start to finish. The attention to detail that goes into designing custom products for all customers, as well as providing precise measurements and installation is what they like to model themselves on. What sets them apart from others is the honest opinion they offer to customers, beyond just making a sale, because they want their customers to be satisfied for years to come.

Sunlight Windows is not just windows. They are able to offer homeowners and contractors a beautiful selection of vinyl windows, entry doors and vinyl siding for replacement or new construction needs and are the area's SunSetter retractable awning dealer. Installation is available for all products that Sunlight offers, and is done by their extremely talented team of ProVia Certified Installers. 

This month, Sunlight Windows is being awarded "Platinum Dealer" by ProVia, their window and door supplier. The Platinum Dealer Event is held in Florida and honors businesses who "have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to selling and installing ProVia’s products." This is a huge accomplishment for a small, rural business that has only been around for three years. Going forward into 2022, Jason says he is looking forward to growth. As the business continues to grow and expand their customer reach, he is looking forward to adding to their product portfolio and knowledge. 

Sunlight Windows is glad to be a part of the Chamber because they are able to network and connect with individuals and businesses in a way that doesn’t happen on a regular basis. The guys enjoy giving back to the community and are glad to have a connection with the Chamber for more ways to get involved in Logan County. 

Sunlight is always looking for more talented individuals to add to their team. They are currently looking for highly motivated individuals, willing to learn in a fast paced environment as Inside Sales Associates or Installation Techs. Starting wages are based off of previous knowledge and are flexible with growth of the individual and the business.
