Rick Hauck founded PowerBuilt Material Handling Solutions (PowerBuilt) in 2000. PowerBuilt is a family owned business that supplies turn-key material handling solutions to some of the worlds largest automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers such as Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, BMW, Mercedes, Hyundai, Kia along with several others. 

PowerBuilt provides Lift Assists to install components such as doors, seats, sunroofs, tailgates, engines and center counsels. In addition to Lift Assists, PowerBuilt also supplies powered and non-powered conveyor systems along with custom fabrication and machining services. 

"Logan County has been home to PowerBuilt for 19 years," said Vice President of PowerBuilt, Nate Hauck. "While offices have been opened in Dublin Ohio, Nashville Tennessee, Charlotte North Carolina, and Dallas Texas, PowerBuilt has received the support of the city, county and state to continuously invest and grow within Logan County." 

This month alone, Powerbuilt will have customers visit their headquarters from Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee. PowerBuilt will also be completing equipment installations in each of these states throughout the balance of July. 

"PowerBuilt keeps it simple: treat people like people and not (a) transaction," said Mr. Hauck. "PowerBuilt focuses on the fact of being a small town, small family owned business; small enough to care, big enough to get the job done." 

PowerBuilt has also re-designed their website and increased their social media presence over the last 18 months. "At the end of the day, our overall marketing strategy is to be in front of their customers building long term, value-based relationships," said Mr. Hauck. 

The Chamber has allowed PowerBuilt to connect with several other local businesses and community leaders. "From Round table discussions to connecting with members at a state level, the chamber is a very supportive group to PowerBuilt and our growth," said Mr. Hauck.
