"Many people don’t know this, but our office building was the home of Judge William Lawrence and is listed on the national Register of Historic Landmarks," said Linda. "It was built in 1861 and retains much of its original woodwork and an impressive floating staircase." All three partners have close family ties to the area. Linda was born and raised in Bellefontaine and Jacob’s wife, Jennifer Boy, is a Bellefontaine native as well. Greg was raised in and still lives in Urbana. Since COVID-19 has hit, MEH has resorted to doing more of their consultations by phone. "We have even attended court hearings by zoom or telephone," said Linda. "We spend more time sanitizing our office and we have purchased air purifiers. Legal firms are considered 'essential,' so we have been able to maintain our office hours and provide services to our clients without interruption." The main draw for MEH to be members of the Logan County Chamber was the variety of benefits the Chamber offers. They enjoy reaping the benefits of the pursuit of excellence programs, networking events (during a 'normal year'), and marketing opportunities. "As a local partnership, we always want to support other local businesses as well and this is one of the best ways we know how," said Linda. Please join us in congratulating MacGillvray, Estes and Harvey, LLC on becoming the Business of the Month for the month of January.
