October Business of the Month: BlueDesk IT

​BlueDesk IT has been serving Logan County and beyond for eight years, providing trusted technology support and personalized service to local businesses. A proud Chamber member for more than three years and the Chamber office’s reliable IT partner, the company continues to grow right here in the community they call home.

The BlueDesk IT team includes Jeremy Williams, Director of Technology; Adam Cronkleton, Director of Operations; and John Jones, System Administrator. Together, this talented team combines decades of IT experience with a heart for service, helping businesses stay secure, connected, and productive.

BlueDesk IT started in 2017 with a simple purpose: to use their gifts and skills to serve the community they live and work in. The business began operations out of a small office in Huntsville, but as their client base grew, they moved into their current location on Main Street in downtown Bellefontaine to be closer to their clients.

“We have worked in IT for decades and are happy to bring a local touch to what can sometimes feel like a chore for businesses to manage on their own,” the team shared.

Both Jeremy and Adam are Logan County natives who have always wanted to stay local and put down roots here. BlueDesk IT has been at its 112 North Main Street location for over two years and loves being in the heart of downtown. “We find it helpful to be so close to our clientele and enjoy being part of the energy of downtown Bellefontaine,” they said.

​BlueDesk IT keeps small to medium-sized businesses running smoothly with services like Microsoft applications, data security, backups, and reliable computer and server support. The team prides itself on being just a phone call away and can quickly be onsite when needed. Clients value the personal, local service and the team’s deep understanding of the community they serve.

One thing that makes BlueDesk IT stand out is its no-contract business model, which isn’t typical in the IT industry. “Our goal is for clients to want to stay with us because we provide great service at a fair price,” they explained. That approach, along with a strong commitment to customer care, has helped the business grow steadily through word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied clients.

“Serving local is a hallmark for our business,” says BlueDesk IT. “Being a Chamber member helps us stay connected with other businesses and initiatives that are going on around the county.”

When asked what advice they would share with someone starting a business, the BlueDesk IT team offers this insight: “Find something you are good at and passionate about and then find a way to fill a need someone has for that. The world needs people who are passionate about many things—find what yours is and help others with that.”

As 2025 continues, BlueDesk IT is looking forward to growing its client base and adding additional team members to support that growth. The future looks bright for this hometown tech team that continues to combine professionalism, passion, and a strong commitment to community.
