Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce -- Chamber Choice Gift Cerficates
The Chamber Choice Gift Certificate Program is an ideal way to support local businesses by helping to ensure that money is spent locally.
Gift certificates can only be purchased at the Logan County
Area Chamber of Commerce and are sold in demoninations of $5, $10, $20, $25, and $50, and are stamped with an expiration date. A 2% handling fee applies to each purchase of gift certificates to help cover the cost of promoting the program.
Gift certificates can be purchased in any combination and are good at
more than 100 businesses in the Logan County area [see list below].
Can anyone purchase Chamber Choice Gift Certficates?
Yes. Employers give them as bonuses, Christmas gifts, safety awards, retirement gifts, and thank you gifts. Individuals give them to family and friends for a variety of celebrations. Certificates are available all year long.
What happens if my purchase is less than the amount of the gift certificate?
When the amount purchases is less than the value of the certificate, merchants are to provide change in cash.
How do participating merchants receive payment when a certificate is redeemed?
The certificate is a check and should be treated as such by the merchant. The check should be signed or stamped on the reverse side and deposited into their bank account the same as any other check. Merchants receive 100% face value of the certificate.
How can customers identify a "participating member" in the Chamber Choice Program?
When gift certificates are purchased, the Chamber provides the purchasor with a list of participating businesses in the Logan County area. To date, there are approximately 100 participating retail stores, restaurants, and service businesses. Download the list. Is there a fee for becoming a participating member?
No. Participation in the program is considered a benefit of your membership in the Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce.
