Easton Water Solutions
Please join the Chamber in congratulating Wes Easton and his staff at Easton Water Solutions as June's Logan County Chamber Business & Entrepreneur of the Month.
Wes began his career in 1997 as a part-time delivery driver working for Dave Dishop who was a franchise owner with the largest and oldest water treatment company in the world. In May of 2000, Mr. Dishop's stores were acquired by a larger parent company and Wes continued to move up in the ranks of this company to a position managing multiple locations. Although the corporate environment was good on many levels and allowed Wes to learn the business from some of the most talented people in the industry world-wide, he found himself being pulled away from Logan County more and more. It was because of this that in 2006, with nothing but his experience, Wes decided that he wanted to try to build a business on his own - here in Logan County. "Many said I was crazy. Perhaps I am" Wes admitted.
Together with Brenda Easton and Bryan Leonard, Wes took a leap of faith. With hard work, customer service and integrity at the heart of their efforts, this committed team has grown and in ten years have multiplied to include Gretchen Anderson, Wayne Casey, Seth Hill, Luke Varner, Julie McCormick, Megan Nicholl, Bill Branan, Tim Back, Kyle Pees, Jacob Smith, Trent Helmlinger, and Quentin Miller. "Our beginnings were very humble and modest. We have become a wonderful team of people working together to provide our community with full service water treatment and plumbing."
Easton Water Solutions offers treatment of problem water, chemicals, salt, filters, pool chemicals, pool water testing, and bottled water. They provide plumbing and water heater repair services. They have free high quality reverse osmosis water at their dispenser and a drive thru facility and delivery service for customer convenience. "Our prices are unbeatable. Our rapid response time and efficiency in getting it done correctly is what separates us from the pack. Customer service is number one" Wes stated.
If there was one fact about his business that most people in the area might not know, but he wanted them to know, Wes said, "We are equipped to handle anything water." They have a customer base that includes large industrial markets, large municipalities, specialized EPA projects, single family homes, local neighbors and customers that are multiple states away. "When we say 'World Headquarters', we mean it!"
Easton Water Solutions supports many community events, countless local high school organizations and programs including prom events, veteran functions and fundraising events. They operate a free 24 hour water station that provides reverse osmosis filtered water to the community where they have given away over 300,000 gallons of water since its inception.
They have provided financial support and bottled water donations to various organizations including, but not limited to, Bellefontaine Athletic Boosters, The Logan County American Association of University Women, RTC Industries & Employment Services, Holland Theatre, ACME teams, The American Cancer Society, Un-2-Him Gospel, Mad River Theater Works, Our Daily Bread, and Logan County DD. On a more global level they have helped to raise funds to support Kingdom Investment International's efforts to raise funds to drill wells in the impoverished African country of Burkina Faso. This ongoing effort has completed three wells to date. "The more you give away the more you gain" Wes said.
In sharing his marketing strategies, he stated, If you don't do the small things right, you will never be able to do the big things right." He also credited two additional sources that have aided him in the success of his business, people who have helped him over the years and have continued to support him. "We didn't get here alone." He feels it is his responsibility to help others as he has received help. Additionally, Wes said, "None of this would be possible without the mercy of Jesus Christ. I am thankful for His grace in all aspects of my life." Romans 8:28 is special to Wes, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose."
Wes chose Logan County simply because, "My roots are deep here. The connections we make are very strong and we want to do our very best for the people of our community." When asked why he chose ten years ago to invest in the Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce he responded, "We are proud to belong to such a wonderful group of people within the Chamber. One of the biggest things that the Chamber helps us do is stay 'plugged-in' to the community. The Chamber helps us see the forest and not just the trees."
The Logan County Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize Wes Easton and his staff at Easton Water Solutions for their dedication and commitment to this community and to the Chamber. We congratulate the entire staff on being selected as June's Business & Entrepreneurs of the Month!
